- Don't have more than 3 books going at one time (One physical, one ebook, one audiobook)
- Always have access to at least one of these (There have been too many times where I'm waiting somewhere and realize too late that I should have brought a book.)
- Stop reading books I don't like (If I'm halfway through a book and hating it, stop! Odds are it's not going to get much better.)
- Put some more focus on backlist books (Because my shelves are overflowing)
- Stop unnecessary BookOutlet binges (Really, I spend too much money and usually don't even read the books...see previous resolution.)
I also have some resolutions to help me be a better blogger:
- Spend more time on posts on the weekends and schedule them in advance
- Explore more blogs and discover new ones to follow
- Make more of an effort to comment back to readers
- Learn more about photo staging
Do you have any reading resolutions for the new year? If so, what are they?
I can only read one book at a time, don't know how you do multiples...
ReplyDeleteThis is a great list! I tend to have more than one book going quite often so am trying yo get that in check.
ReplyDeletePhoto staging and learning to post ahead of time (specifically schedule out social media) is my goal too!
ReplyDeleteThese are all such great resolutions! Good luck with them! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your book resolutions. I know what you mean about multiple books on the go at once. Before blogging I used to have a few going at once, but then when I had to take the information in fully to be able to write a review all that changed. I tend to stick to just two at a time now.
ReplyDeleteOne of my challenges is to get through my TBR list that I have at the moment, as it is huge. It also means that books that I have bought are being pushed to the side for those that I have taken on to review.
Very sensible resolutions and I do understand the need to utilize the waiting time. I do the same thing as well.
